Due to the troubles we had all been witnessing in the Holy Land we chose the Bethlehem Orphanage Appeal as our Advent Charity. 
 

All our fundraising during the month of December, including the ticket sales from our Christmas Show and Nativity Play, allowed us to raise £1025 which some of our senior pupils presented to Archbishop Nolan. 
 

The Crèche in Bethlehem is managed by Catholic nuns from the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul and Palestinian staff. It is a well,known refuge for around 50-60 children up to the age of 8 years. It caters for the most deprived children, including those rejected by their parents, or those at risk of abuse, violence or orphaned.
