St Charles' Primary & LCR works closely with the parish community from the Oratory of St Charles and St Gregory's Parish Church.
Fr Allan Cameron visits the school regularly and provides pastoral support for pupils, parents and staff. We visit the Oratory of St Charles for First Friday Mass each month, Holy Days of Obligation and for celebrations throughout the year. 

 

Staff and Pupils in the school work closely with the Parish, particularly in preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, Confirmation and the Pope Francis Faith Award. Masses to celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion take place in the Oratory of St Charles and St Gregory's Parish. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred in a parish in the Deanery, as directed by Archbishop Nolan  

Primary 3 Roman Catholic children will prepare for their sacraments of Reconciliation, with preparation for  First Eucharist taking place in Primry 4 and in Primary 7 for Confirmation. Primary 6 and Primary 7 children will take part in the Pope Francis Faith Award, which can include an additional Parish Commendation which is verified by Fr Allan Cameron.
