Religious Education in Roman Catholic School
United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) articles supported by our Religious Education curriculum:
The main aim of Religious Education in our school is to teach the Catholic Faith to the children in a way that is appropriate to their age and circumstances. Our aim is to help children deepen their faith and live out Gospel values.
In St Charles' Primary & LCR we follow, ‘This Is Our Faith,’ the religious education syllabus for Catholic schools in Scotland.
The experiences and outcomes have been organised under Strands of Faith which outline the aspects of Catholic theology underpinning Catholic religious education
