Saint Charles' Primary School was built in 1901.
A large extension was added in 1932 by William McCaig who was the Education Department's architect.
The outside of the school has not changed much since then, however, I am pleased to report that our class sizes are a little smaller.
Though even with enormous classes it was still good practice to use concrete materials to develop numeracy skills!
Please contact us if you are a former pupil of St Charles'. We would love to hear your school day memories and see any photographs you have.
