Why do we have a Pupil Lighthouse Team?
The Pupil Lighthouse Team is a group of pupils leaders who synergize to promote the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Students.
The Pupil Lighthouse Team
This pupil leadership group is comprised of two elected class representative from each mainstream class and one class representative from each LCR class. A Pupil Lighthouse Team representative is a pupil whose responsibility it is to model the 7 Habits and leadership actions as well as organise events that include the other pupils, giving all children the opportunity to show leadership.
Responsibilities of the Pupil Lighthouse Team
- To consistently demonstrate leadership qualities and promote these among all pupils in our school.
- To encourage the learning and living of the 7 Habits® through their behaviour, pupil-led events, lessons, assemblies, and videos.
- To discuss and recommend habits-based solutions for concerns at our school.
- To actively participate in school and community service activities.
